TOPIC: THE POWER OF HIS RESURRECTION
CHURCH: SHOUTS OF GRACE CENTER, IBADAN
TEXT: PHILIPPIANS 3:10
"That I may know him and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings being made conformable unto his death."
If we don't know him personally,we will not be able to experience his resurrection power.You have to know Jesus for yourself.
He is the fulfiller,wonder worker,friend of sinners,unique God,the son of man,the divine teacher,the supreme soul-winner,the great physician,the bread of life,the water of life,defender of the weak,light of the world,the good shepherd,the resurrection and the life,he was the king that rode triumphantly into Jerusalem,a king with a servant's heart,the counsellor,the true vine,giver of the spirit,the great intercessor,the sufferer,the uplifted son,the restorer of the repentant.
He's a seven way king,king of the Jews,national king,king of glory,lord of lords,king of righteousness,he's entirely sincere,he's God,he's God's son,he's the miracle of your age and my age,he strengthens and sustains,he defends the feeble,he raised himself from the dead,he was beaten that we might have peace and be healed,he's indescribable.
We should seek to know him more personally and intimately by prayers,fasting and studying the word.
We are able to cry Abba Father because of the resurrection power,it is the law of sin and death that brings diseases and we give the law power over us when we put our hands into sins.
There is a power and that power is resident in you,all you need is to know that power.
JESUS IS LORD!!!
