    The Barclays Premier Leagues games this weekend showed the title race is till wide open with only 12 points separating the first five teams on the log. Defending champions Manchester City dropped points after losing away to Liverpool as the Merseyside team leap frogged Southampton to 5th position. The Saints are now a shadow of their blazing first half of the season after losing their last two games and are now sitting in 6th position. Arsenal set a club record of winning 7 consecutive games in the Barclays Premier League for the first time since 2005 after their home win against Everton.
