She can't do without her mum!

Our marriage is just about 8 months old. However, in those 8months, my mother-in-law has seen my wife, more than I have.
She practically spends time with her mum.
We live around the same area, so it's easy for her.
The only time I had her to myself was during our honeymoon.
After then, it's always mummy this, mummy that, mummy said, etc.
I've complained, pleaded, tried reasoning with her, threatened, all to no avail.
She keeps saying she can't do without her mum.
