    Chapter 6:16-35

Before we go into the review proper I want to ask this question

What are the things God cannot do?

    Proverbs 6:16-19 KJV
These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: [17] A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, [18] An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, [19] A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

God also hate some of our characters that makes us far from achieving

    1. A proud look
    2. A lying tongue
    3. Hands that shed innocent blood
    4. An heart that devises wicked imaginations
    5. A feet that is swift in running to mischief
    6. A false witness
    7. He that sows discord among brethren

This is talking about the entire of human everyday! We use these instruments everyday at least one of them! Let us be watchful and careful

    Proverbs 6:20-23 KJV
My son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother: [21] Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck. [22] When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee. [23] For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:

The mandate to keep the commandments is a commandment to follow too
[6/2, 8:52 PM] Adamilare: The truth we know is what would serve as protecting when the strength cannot carry

    Proverbs 6:24-27 KJV
To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman. [25] Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids. [26] For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life. [27] Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?

The commandments and instructions will keep us from shichoosing, shimarrying, shidating! ????????????????????

Men! Not only the females can be diminished!

Verse 26 says for by means of a whorish woman, *a man* is brought to a *piece of bread*

Let's stay chaste until and after the wedding night

    Proverbs 6:28-31 KJV
Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned? [29] So he that goeth in to his neighbour's wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent. [30] Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry; [31] But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.

Verse 27-28 hammers it that whatever we do, has a corresponding consequence.

Don't let us smell what we wouldn't eat, neither let us steal what we would enjoy till death comes our way! Youths, Teens, Students, this is the devils most effective plan in our age

Our sensitivity and response would determine our end!

    Proverbs 6:32-35 KJV
But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul. [33] A wound and dishonour shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away. [34] For jealousy is the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance. [35] He will not regard any ransom; neither will he rest content, though thou givest many gifts.

Uncle Solomon is talking from experience

Adultery and Fornication either in physical terms or conceived in the heart, will cause a wound to our active or striving to be active spirituality. Our spiritual life would experience backwardness if this is our goal

The soul is broken, the spirit is wounded and the flesh is satisfied! But there's a way out. Let us renew our hearts and mind everyday.

    My 2nd question

What is the most *jealous* gender (Male or Female)? (Tell us why you feel so)

Prayer: Our Lord we pray that chaste to your taste shall we remain till the end IN Jesus name... Amen!
