Faith Is A Love Walk With God

Faith is not a formula, it is friendship with God. Knowing God intimately is the key to mountain moving faith.
“And they who know Your name [who have experience and acquaintance with Your mercy] will lean on and confidently put their trust in You.” (Ps. 9:10, AMP)
Acquaint now yourself with Him [agree with God and show yourself to be conformed to His will] and be at peace; by that [you shall prosper and great] good shall come to you. (Job 22:21 AMP)
Faith is simply believing God. If you have faith in someone, that just simply means you trust them and have confidence in them.
Knowing God intimately is the key to trusting Him with your present cares and your uncertain future.
God is not at a distance making it difficult for you to know Him better. He hasn’t made it hard so that only a few can get close to Him. God has His arms outstretched to you today wanting you to come to Him and experience what you were created for-intimacy with Him.
Getting to know God better is exactly the same as getting to know a friend better. You hang out with them more. You open up your heart to them more. You listen to them. You make more of an effort to bless them and do what makes them happy.
By meditating on scriptures regarding the character of God, His love, mercy, compassion, kindness and goodness, you will find yourself drawing closer to Him.
You will have a greater desire to spend time talking to Him and to be in His Word.
Knowing Him more intimately will automatically increase your trust level and your confidence in His ability and desire to come through for you.
I encourage you therefore to desire to know Him more intimately. Commit yourself to spending quality time with Him. As you meditate on His Word, He will you fresh revelation of His character and love.
I like you to step out into the week with the assurance that God loves you and He is on your side.
