Who Is To Blame For That Failed Relationship?

One of the greatest things that the devil wants us to do is to keep blaming God for anything that didn’t go down well. However, the reality is that this attitude will not help at all.

One of the most foolish things to do in this world is to blame God for every negative predicament.

How does a creature blame His creator? Where did he even get the audacity from?

Take a look at the scriptures.

Pro 19:3 (MSG)
People ruin their lives by their own stupidity, so why does GOD always get blamed?

When something fails or doesn’t work out, particularly a relationship, you are supposed to sit down and find out what went wrong, why it went wrong, how it could have been avoided rather than heap all the blame on God.

Nobody can successfully blame God!

What do you do when a relationship fails?

Here are a few things that can help

1. The first thing is to thank God.

He didn't say thank Him for everything, He said thank Him in everything.

1Th 5:18 (KJV)
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

2. Do not blame God, do not blame yourself and do not blame your ex.

Blaming God can affect your relationship with God, blaming yourself will stop you from moving on, blaming your Ex will fester hurts and bitterness.

3. Take a break

One of the greatest mistake to make is to rush into another relationship to pep up your esteem or to get back at your Ex, but it doesn’t always work because you will go into that new relationship with hurts and will end up frustrating the innocent fellow.

4. Seek wisdom from mentors and pastors

Seek wisdom. Talk to people who have done what you are trying to do and who you know will not confuse you further.

There is safety in counsels.

Pro 11:14 (KJV)
Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.

I will stop here this morning. God bless your relationship.
