Are you in that situation that is so overwhelming such that the most reasonable thing to do is to give up? Hey, you just hold on a while. Ig God is your God, then you are a bonafide heir of Grace.
What does that even mean?
What is it worth?
Let us go through this poem together.
GRACE:
Rubber bends iron
The deer routs the lion
Subjected to equal temperature
Regardless of their nature
Ice lasted longer than steel
In that durability drill
The cheetah is renowned for its pace
And so was expected to win the race
But it was the laborious elephant
That ended up being triumphant
What the sighted couldn’t find
Was unearthed by the blind
Fuel or water, which burnt better?
It was unbelievably the latter
The forest was woeful
Where the desert proved fruitful
The dunce defeated the don
In that academic competition
In spite of the chasm between their respective means
The pauper still enjoys life more than the exalted prince
That the battle is to the strong
Is a thought all gone wrong
The race is not to the swift
And to win is but God’s gift
His grace is sufficient
His ways efficient
Right at the height of our weakness
God is apt to show His goodness
2 Corinthians 12: 9- 10 (NIV)
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Just key in to your divine heritage of GRACE.
It shall end in praise.
