We all know Joseph, he was a prisoner that suddenly became the prime minister.
It could have been anybody, but there are certain principles you need to adhere to.

1. Decide to move with Jesus this year more than ever.

The bible says in

Jam 4:8 KJV
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.

When you decide to move with God, he would turn certain things around.
Joseph didn't deny his God, he was still as close with him as ever before. He was even the one cheering people up in the prison and that brings us to our second point.

2. Keep on praising God.

Don't for anything stop PRAISING God. Do not forsake the God that can deliver you. The fact that your friend got married, doesn't mean you wouldn't.

In fact, be happy, and joyful because you know your own is coming soon.

Look at Joseph, he had a cheerful heart!

Pro 15:13 KJV
A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

When God sees you have decided to praise him even in all that is happening with you, he would turn it around and turn yours to be good.

Oh, taste and see that the lord is good.

3. You have to run from sin.

Don't do one leg in and out. Forsake all evil, and run away from it.

Joseph said

Gen 39:9 KJV
[There is] none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou [art] his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?

Do not play with sin, do not go near it, don't let it entice you, don't say I don't know how it happened.

When you see just 1 sign, run far away from it.

If you want to be great with God in your life, then you must run away from sin.

4. Have a secret place for God.

Be in constant communication, constant relationship.
Let it be like that of a father and son.
Bible says

Psa 91:1
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

There is a secret place with God, and that can be gotten through constant fellowship.
When you do that, the umbrella of God will shadow you and all his blessing will overtake you.

Let me point something to you.
Look at that Joseph story
Gen 39, vs 2, 3, 21, and 23.
Not only because he was a dreamer, but also because God was with him, that was why he prospered.

Let God be with you in every area of your life.
Develop yourself, then you see yourself flourishing in your relationship, finances, health, academics et cetera.
