"Perversion will be in the air, and emotions would be weak, resolves would easily dissolve on that day, so do not compromise yourself in inappropriate and unfortunate environments."
Rev Dunamis Tunde Okunowo
After Valentine, are we going to really experience a celebration of love or decimation of love?
Historically, it is a day meant or intended to celebrate love.
But do you know where the major problem is? How does a person who doesn’t “know” love celebrate it?
It is difficult to celebrate the unknown. And this is why Valentine's day has largely resulted in perversion than love.
Everybody wants a Val!
The day will come and go, but most people would be left heartbroken. A lot more would be introduced into the world of sexual perversion. Even more, would have their innocence robbed or willingly auctioned off.
Rape cases would be registered. Parties and orgies would take place. What is meant to be a celebration of love becomes a desecration of lives.
And the reason is obvious.
There cannot be a celebration of love without a dedication to love.
And here is the sober conclusion; God is love!
Without a relationship with God, you don’t know who God is and you don’t know what love is.
Without God, you are practically unable to love appropriately. You just simply lack the capacity.
Beware of traveling down to meet that man you scarcely know all in the name of desperation to celebrate Valentine. It could lead to a tale of regrets.
Beware of your Ex that suddenly shows up from the blues asking for a time out. It could end with your testimony lost!
Beware of the lady you have asked out and who never cooperated since, but suddenly arrives in your crib for Valentine.
Sometimes, nemesis comes wearing the attire of luck. Be careful.
The scripture aptly warns us.
Heb 12:16 (KJV)
Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
My responsibility is to blow the trumpet and warn you! Be careful, dear KHCites.
Do not sell your inheritance in God for a morsel of night out!
See the Message Translation.
Heb 12:16 (MSG)
Watch out for the Esau syndrome: trading away God's lifelong gift in order to satisfy a short-term appetite.
That is the clincher.
Don’t throw away all you have known in order to satisfy a short term appetite in just one night!
Sons and daughters on KHC, do not be deceived. Be alert.
Avoid staying alone in a room with anybody.
Perversion will be in the air, and emotions would be weak, resolves would easily dissolve on that day, so do not compromise yourself in inappropriate and unfortunate environments.
Do not respond to any call from anybody to hook up in a guest house. They don’t pray there!
May one day experience not lead to years of regrets and agony in Jesus name!
I pray that God will keep you blameless in Jesus name!
Stay strong!
