We started on this series yesterday.
Today, we look at another kind of man you should not consider marrying!
He is the iron man.
May we never marry iron o!
In the movies, the Iron man was built a suit when he was kidnapped and suffered an injury to his heart.
He was then built a metallic suit.
In the same way, the iron husband has suffered magnanimous damage to his and he is unwilling to forgive and let go.
A suit of bitterness and offense is what he wears around.
As the name implies, he has an iron will, he is very hard, immovable and authoritative, he is not willing to take advice from anyone else, he feels he knows it all.
Do not marry such a man, because once you do, you are forever muted.
You will not be able to match his dangerous and protective suit.
The iron man has suffered and wants to inflict same pain on those around him.
The Iron man has his own desires that he wants to pursue, fuelled by his iron will and iron-clad attitudes.
But this is not the way of God. Look at what the scriptures says:
1Pe 4:1-2 (TPT) Since Christ, though innocent, suffered in his flesh for you, now you also must be a prepared soldier, having the same mind-set, for whoever has died in his body is done with sin. [2] So live the rest of your earthly life no longer concerned with human desires but consumed with what brings pleasure to God.
We are to pursue what pleases God, not what pleases our flesh.
Jesus already suffered for us, our mindset, therefore, is to please God, not put on some iron suit built with our intentions and pain.
The Iron man is almost impenetrable.
His emotions are in contradiction. He says he loves you but you can’t reach him.
His specially built suit, with materials of bitterness and pain, will not allow you to reach him.
His voice is tender but his actions are unemotional and painful.
He says he will protect you but he is your major source of fear.
Falling in love with the iron man is an affliction of the soul because his agenda fuelled by past pain and bitterness is more important to him than you.
He has imaginary enemies. He wants to fight without because he fights within.
His metallic suit painted with the colours of bitterness causes many others including you to be defiled as the scripture says.
Heb 12:15 (KJV) Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
He will draw you into his mission. You will fight people you don't know. You will soon learn his ways and if care is not taken, you will join in the fight you can never win.
Two bitter people in marriage will not likely make it.
He is a sadist. This is obvious in his conversations with you and it tends towards bondage sex. He tells you he likes to tie you up. He tells you he likes to be spanked. He asked if he can buy you handcuffs as a gift.
Did you say cufflinks?
No, handcuffs!!!
Run for your life. Fire on the mountain, run, run run!
Do not marry such a man!
Once again, I say to you, do not marry an iron man.
Good morning. Have a fantastic week.
May your path not cross with iron lovers! May God guide you into the hands of that man that he has prepared for you who will be a true and loving husband!
