MERCY THROUGH THANKSGIVING

MESSAGE TAUGHT BY REV. DUNAMIS OKUNOWO ON THE 4TH OF OCTOBER 2020

Rev Dunamis started his teaching from Isaiah 49:13.

Isaiah 49:13, KJV
Shout for joy, you heavens; rejoice, you earth; burst into song, you mountains! For the Lord comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones.

From the scripture, he taught that in the good times (represented by "heavens") we should sing and shout for joy, in the low, down, and not so good times (represented by "earth") we should break forth into singing and rejoice. Also in the times when it seems like nothing good or bad is happening (represented by the "mountains"), we should also praise God. Praising and thanking God is something we should do at all times regardless of how we feel or how things are.

Murmuring and complaint are sounds that encourage the devil, unlike the sound of thanksgiving which ushers God to the scene.

Rev. Dunamis concluded his teaching by explaining how Mercy is a spiritual force. Good things happen by Mercy, it suspends rules and erases judgement
