This is a continuation of yesterday's devotional

6. Be expressive.

Talk. Communicate. You are created in God's image. God is a speaking spirit. You released the creative power in you by speaking. You prophesy by speaking. Don't be intimated into not speaking. You may be a quiet personality but when it comes to your husband, you must talk.

Don't be a piece of furniture. Be a person of few words, don't be a chatterbox, but never keep quiet on your husband. Your role as a helper can be fulfilled majorly as you talk but let your speaking and your words be full of wisdom.

Note, I am not talking about mere gisting, toxic talk, jesting, or expressing hurts. I am talking about words that put springs on your husband's feet to run and take giant strides.

7. Pray, pray, and pray some more.

As a helpmeet, every woman is called to be an intercessor. You bring the request or burden of your husband to God and take God's message back to him. How sweet when wives learn this role. Heartfelt, genuine intercession. When you a praying woman the world is under you.

Your husband's prosperity, increase, advancement becomes your advancement. Take your husband as your prayer project. Seize the opportunity to talk to God on behalf of your husband.

8. Be a good homemaker.

Wives are multipliers by nature. Use this creative power to advance and beautify his life.
When a wife is given a house she turns it into a home. Give her a seed, she turns it into a baby, 9 months later.
Make the home a haven, not an oven. Let it be peaceful for your husband to rest, refresh and refire

9. Poke nose into every of his affairs.

Know as much of every aspect of his life.
His finances, his relationships, his challenges, his dreams, his projects, his strengths, his weaknesses, his joys, his low moments, his high moments, are part of your curriculum and assignment.

That's how to be part of your husband's life. I like to go to most places with my husband because I want to be part of his life. Some prefer to stay back and hold the fort and be supportive in prayers and other things.
Whichever way, be a part of his life.

Let nothing die in your hands. The children are also a part of his life because they are an extension of his life. Take care of them in godly ways

10. You are the only one that can relieve his sexual tensions.

The tensions and passions in your husband may be wild but God has designed that they are handled and managed in marriage. Find creative ways to satisfy his needs.

It's one role you cannot delegate. Let your husband always look forward to being with you.

May the Lord grant us more and more understanding in Jesus name.
