Yesterday evening, I told my mom about my fiancee and our plans to get married. She listened carefully till I finished, then she gently said "you can not marry her".
I was shocked, because she hasn't seen her before or heard much details about her before, so I inquired to know why.
She said because my fiancee earns more than I do, I can not marry her.
How do I handle this?

Dont be angry with mum, she is just being caring and fearful. She fears you might not be able to be the "MAN" of the house if you marry her. Hmm, she must have said that based on negative experiences heard or seen.
However, you are a MAN, are you not? Its not earning more than your wife that makes you a MAN! Its leadership, vision, wisdom and strength.
You are the one that knows the woman you want to marry. You should be able to discern from her speech and attitude if she will be submissive, respectful and helpful. There is no problem with your wife earning more than you. Dont allow external infleunce rule your life. If she is God's choice for you, go ahead.
PLS NOTE: Dont Marry her just because she has more money ooo!
