Echiejile Led AS Monaco Sink Arsenal at the Emirates

In tonight’s UEFA champions league game, AS Monaco were inspired by goals fromGeoffrey Kondogbia , veteran strike, Dimitar Berbatov and captain, Yannick Ferraira-Carrasco to trounce wobbling Arsenal at home in the Emirates stadium. Substitute Alex Chamberlain got a consolation goal for the hosts in the last minute of normal time.
This embarrassing result comes at the back of Arsenal not progressing past the round of sixteen in the last six champion league seasons and this time around despite being handed a seemingly easy opponent in AS Monaco from France which had super eagles defender Elderson Echiejile on parade to keep their defence tight.
