  Chelsea have clinched its first trophy of the season by thrashing fellow London club, Tottenham two-nil in the final played in Wembley. Quintessential skipper, John Terry and an own goal by Kyle Walker did the damage. The Blues coach Jose Mourinho, described this triumph as the most important final match of his career and is happy to get his club back to winning ways as this is his first trophy since his return to Stamford Bridge last season. Chelsea currently seat atop of the Barclays Premier League table with 5 points adrift of Manchester City with a game in hand and are also in contention for the UEFA Champions league.
