Well, I feel it depends on for how long they are not together and to what extend they talk about Jeru trips. Telling themselves how much they miss each other is very healthy and keeps them looking forward to seeing each other. But there is no point talking too deep to the point of mastubation or organism if they wont see each other for long. It may open them up to sexual temptation.
