Day 16: 123 Days of Fasting - Prayers and Affirmations

Prayer Points

Isaiah 58:6 (KJV) Is not this the fast that I have chosen?to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

Today, we continue on the phrase, “and to let the oppressed go free”

1. Thank God for Day 16 of Fasting and Prayers.

Psalms 119:134 (KJV) Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts.

2. In the name of Jesus, I am delivered and liberated from all forms of human oppression.

Psalms 119:134 (MSG) Rescue me from the grip of bad men and women so I can live life your way.

3. I will not be caught in the grip or trap of bad men and bad women in Jesus’ name!

Judges 6:9 (KJV) And I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all that oppressed you, and drave them out from before you, and gave you their land;

4. I am liberated from the grasp of all oppressors in the name of Jesus, and they are far from me. 

Judges 6:9 (GW) I rescued you from the power of the Egyptians and from the power of those who oppressed you. I forced people out of your way. I gave you their land.

5. Every power of the oppressor is crushed and nullified in the name of Jesus.

6. Go ahead and thank God for answered prayers.

Confession and Affirmation

Thank You, Lord, for bringing me to Day 16 of this fasting and prayer journey, where I trust that You are continuing to set me free from every form of oppression in my life.

I celebrate Your faithfulness as I seek You, knowing that this fast is divinely chosen to loose the bands of wickedness, undo heavy burdens, and let the oppressed go free. Today, I boldly declare my deliverance from all forms of human oppression, trusting in Your power to rescue and liberate me. 

In the name of Jesus, I am delivered and liberated from all forms of human oppression.

By the authority of Jesus Christ, I renounce every scheme, manipulation, or control exerted by others that seeks to oppress me. Whether it’s emotional, relational, social, or spiritual oppression, I declare that I am fully set free. No person or system can hold me captive when I stand under the covering of Your mighty name. 

I will not be caught in the grip or trap of bad men and bad women in Jesus’ name!

I resist every attempt of ungodly individuals to ensnare or harm me. Their plans are thwarted, and their schemes are dismantled by Your divine intervention. I walk confidently in the truth that I am protected, guided, and shielded by Your grace, far from the reach of those who intend evil. 

I am liberated from the grasp of all oppressors in the name of Jesus, and they are far from me.

I declare that every hand of oppression—whether from people, systems, or circumstances—is broken and removed from my life. By Your power, those who sought to harm or hinder me are driven far away, unable to influence or impact my destiny. I am free to live according to Your purpose without fear or interference. 

Every power of the oppressor is crushed and nullified in the name of Jesus.

I command every weapon, strategy, or force of the enemy to be rendered powerless. Any attempt to oppress, intimidate, or dominate me is crushed under the weight of Your authority. I declare victory over every oppressive force, knowing that You have already secured my freedom. 

Thank You, Lord, for answered prayers and for delivering me from the hands of oppressors.

I rejoice in Your faithfulness, knowing that You hear my cries and act on my behalf. You have rescued me from the power of the enemy and placed me on a path of freedom and purpose. I declare that I am healed, restored, and walking victoriously in the abundant life only You can provide.
