Isaiah 58:6 (KJV) Is not this the fast that I have chosen?to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

Today, we start on the phrase, “and to let the oppressed go free”

1. Thank God for the Day 12 of Fasting and Prayers.

Acts 10:38 (KJV) How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

2. Lord, I pray for areas in my life where I'm oppressed. Break every yoke, and set me free from bondage in the name of Jesus

3. Father, deliver me from internal struggles. Let Your truth break chains holding me captive in any area of my life in Jesus name 

4. Lord, I ask You to set me free me from negative thought patterns. Fill me with Your peace in Jesus name

5. Father, break strongholds in my mind. Let Your love and truth reign in Jesus name 

6. Lord, I pray against fear, anxiety, or doubt. Fill me with Your courage and confidence in Jesus name 

7. Thank God for answered prayers 

Confession / Affirmation

Thank You, Lord, for bringing me to Day 12 of this fasting and prayer journey, where I trust that You are setting me free from every form of oppression in my life.

I celebrate Your faithfulness as I continue to seek You, knowing that this fast is divinely chosen to loose the bands of wickedness and let the oppressed go free. Today, I focus on Your promise to break every yoke, deliver me from bondage, and empower me to live victoriously in freedom. 

Lord, I bring before You the areas in my life where I have felt oppressed. Break every yoke, and set me free from all forms of bondage in the name of Jesus.

I declare that no chain—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—can hold me captive when You are by my side. By Your mighty power, every stronghold is dismantled, and I am released into the fullness of the freedom You purchased for me. I boldly claim my liberty in Christ. 

Father, deliver me from internal struggles. Let Your truth break every chain holding me captive in any area of my life, in Jesus’ name.

I surrender the battles within me—whether guilt, shame, confusion, or self-doubt—and invite Your truth to reign supreme. Your Word declares that I am free, forgiven, and fearfully made. By faith, I walk in alignment with this truth, leaving behind anything that opposes Your will for my life. 

Lord, I ask You to set me free from negative thought patterns that weigh down my mind. Fill me with Your supernatural peace, joy, and clarity in Jesus’ name.

I renounce thoughts of fear, doubt, and despair, choosing instead to meditate on Your promises and dwell in Your presence. Replace these destructive patterns with Your peace that surpasses understanding, guarding my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. 

Father, break strongholds in my mind and let Your love and truth reign supreme in every area of my life, in Jesus’ name.

I resist the lies and deceptions of the enemy, declaring that my mind is a sanctuary for Your truth. Strengthen me to take every thought captive and align it with Your Word. By Your Spirit, renew my mind and fill me with the confidence that comes from knowing who I am in Christ. 

Lord, I pray against fear, anxiety, or doubt, and I ask You to fill me with Your courage and confidence in Jesus’ name.

I release the grip of fear and worry, trusting that You are my refuge and strength. Clothe me with the boldness and assurance that come from Your Spirit, enabling me to face challenges with unwavering faith. I declare that I am fearless because You are with me. 

Thank You, Lord, for answered prayers and for breaking every yoke of oppression in my life.

I rejoice in Your faithfulness, knowing that every promise prayed over my life is coming to pass. You have delivered me from bondage, filled me with Your peace, and equipped me to walk confidently in Your purpose. I declare that I am free, healed, and empowered to live victoriously in the abundant life You have prepared for me.
