Zec 8:19  Thus says the Lord of hosts: The fast of the fourth month and the fast of the fifth, the fast of the seventh and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah times of joy and gladness and cheerful, appointed seasons; therefore [in order that this may happen to you, as the condition of fulfilling the promise] love truth and peace.

The Amplified version of above says clearly that in order for the promise to be fulfilled, (that is joy and gladness), you MUST love truth and peace. Let us focus on truth today.

Prayer Points

1. Lord, lead me in the path of your truth and mercy in the name of Jesus!

Psalms 25:10 (KJV) All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

2. As I wait on you, O Lord, lead me in your truth and teach me your ways in the name of Jesus.

Psalms 25:5 (KJV) Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

3. Lord, by your mercy, let your lovingkindness and truth preserve me always in Jesus’ name!

Psalms 40:11 (KJV) Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.

4. O Lord, help me to be truthful in my inward parts, take away every deceit and deceitful tendencies from my life in Jesus’ name.

Psalms 51:6 (KJV) Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

5. O Lord, let your truth be my shield and bulwark at all times in Jesus’ name.

Psalms 91:4 (KJV) He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

6. Go ahead and thank God for answered prayers.

Confession and Affirmation 

I am confidently led by the Lord in the path of His truth and mercy, walking in alignment with His covenant and testimonies.

I declare that all the paths of the Lord are filled with mercy and truth, and as I remain obedient to His Word, I experience His unfailing guidance and protection. With every step I take, I trust that He is directing my journey, leading me away from confusion and into His divine purpose.  

As I wait on the Lord, I am taught His ways and enveloped in His truth, for He is the God of my salvation.

I affirm that my waiting is not in vain, but a sacred time of learning and growth in His presence. His wisdom becomes my foundation, shaping my thoughts, decisions, and actions. I rest assured that He hears my cries and will never leave me, for His truth sustains me all the day long.  

By the Lord’s mercy, His lovingkindness and truth preserve me continually, shielding me from harm and strengthening me for every challenge.

I boldly proclaim that His tender mercies are ever-present in my life, surrounding me like a fortress of grace. His lovingkindness comforts my soul, while His truth guards my heart and mind, ensuring that I stand firm in His promises.  

I am truthful in my inward parts, free from deceit and every spirit of dishonesty, as the Lord refines me and fills me with His wisdom.

I renounce every tendency toward falsehood or manipulation, choosing instead to walk in integrity and sincerity. The Lord searches my heart and transforms me from within, planting seeds of righteousness and authenticity that reflect His character.  

The truth of the Lord is my shield and bulwark, protecting me from every attack and giving me courage to face any storm.

I stand covered by His feathers, finding refuge under the shadow of His wings. His truth goes before me, dismantling lies and strongholds, and equipping me to overcome every obstacle. I trust that no weapon formed against me will prosper because His truth is my defense.  

Lord, I am steadfastly guided by Your truth and mercy, walking in the light of Your covenant and testimonies. As I wait on You, I am taught Your ways and find salvation in Your presence. Your lovingkindness and truth preserve me always, shielding me from harm and filling me with peace. I reject deceit and embrace honesty, allowing Your wisdom to shape my innermost being. By Your grace, I am truthful in my words and actions, reflecting Your righteousness to the world. Your truth stands as my shield and stronghold, protecting me from every scheme of the enemy. In Jesus’ name, I declare that I am preserved, empowered, and unshakable in Your love and faithfulness.
