Day 3: 123 Days of Fasting - Prayers and Affirmations 

Welcome to Day 3! Don’t get tired! Keep going! The Lord who has begun with us will be with us all the way, and we will certainly pay the price for our destiny.! 

Zechariah 8:18-19 (KJV) And the word of the LORD of hosts came unto me, saying, [19] Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace.

Prayer Points:

1. Thank you, Lord, for the third day of waiting on you! Thank you, Lord, for the strength and grace you give me!

2. This fast will bring me joy and gladness that I will never be able to recover from in Jesus’ name.

3. Lord, I thank you for your promise to turn seasons of fasting, mourning, or hardship into times of joy and gladness. Transform any grief or pain in my life into a testament to your faithfulness.

Psalm 30:11 – “You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness.”

4. Father, fill me with Your supernatural joy that is not contingent on circumstances but rooted in Your presence. Let Your joy be my strength., even in challenging times.

Nehemiah 8:10 – “The joy of the Lord is your strength.

5. I am delivered from discouragement, despair, and hopelessness in Jesus name.

Isaiah 61:3 – “To grant to those who mourn in Zion—to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning.”

6. I oppose the actions of malevolent spirits that cause depression, oppression, heaviness, and all unexplainable sadness.

7. Go ahead and thank God for answered prayers!

Confession/Affirmation: 

I’m so thankful for God’s faithfulness in getting me through every season. I know His strength and grace are always with me.

I can’t help but think about how God has taken care of me so far. Each day is a reminder of His provision. I know I have everything I need to thrive because of His unwavering support. Even when I’m waiting or uncertain, I trust that His timing is perfect and His plans for my life are filled with hope and purpose.

The joy and gladness that come from seeking God will change my life in ways I can’t even imagine. I embrace this supernatural shift in Jesus’ name.

I know that my pursuit of God—through fasting, prayer, and obedience—is working. The joy He pours into my spirit is so strong that it goes beyond my circumstances. It’s like a wellspring of strength that keeps me going every day. I know that this transformation will leave an indelible mark on my heart, filling me with unshakable peace and boundless gratitude.

God is turning my seasons of mourning into seasons of dancing. He’s dressing me in gladness instead of sorrow.

I let go of all my sadness, disappointment, and pain. I know God turns ashes into beauty. He’s making what was lost into gain, and where there was despair, He’s planting seeds of hope. I celebrate the promise that He makes everything new, and I welcome the restoration He’s bringing to every part of my life.

I’m filled with the supernatural joy of the Lord, which is my strength in every situation.

I say that my joy doesn’t depend on external conditions, but it comes from the presence of God inside me. No matter what challenges I face, His joy gives me the courage and resilience to rise above them. I’m anchored in His love, and nothing can steal the deep-seated happiness He’s put in my heart.

I’m free from discouragement, despair, and hopelessness. I walk in victory and divine purpose in Jesus’ name.

I reject every spirit of heaviness and oppression, choosing instead to live in the light of God’s promises. My mind is renewed by His Word, and I stand firm in the truth that I’m more than a conqueror through Christ. Every time the enemy tries to bring me down, the mighty hand of God stops him, and I move forward in confidence, knowing that I’m equipped to fulfil my destiny. 

I stand strong against the dark forces that try to drag me down into depression, oppression, or sadness. I declare that I am covered by the blood of Jesus and protected by His power. Any attack that tries to steal my peace, joy, or clarity is crushed in His name. I walk in freedom, free from every chain of darkness, and I shine brightly as a reflection of His glory. 

I thank God now for the answers to my prayers, trusting that He hears me and acts on my behalf according to His perfect plan. 

With a heart full of gratitude, I celebrate the breakthroughs that are already happening in my life. I align my thoughts with faith, believing that every promise I’ve prayed over is being fulfilled right now. I trust that God loves to respond to my cries, and I rejoice in His faithfulness, both seen and unseen. 

I have a deep love and faith in God, who gives me the strength and grace to live each day. When I fast and seek Him, I feel a big change inside, going from feeling sad to feeling incredibly happy. His amazing joy fills my heart, and I feel safe and strong in His presence. I don’t let discouragement, despair, or hopelessness get to me. I know that Jesus has already won for me, and I’m not afraid of anything. Evil forces can’t hurt me because I’m protected by God’s powerful hand and dressed in His righteousness. I’m so grateful that God answered my prayers, that my future is secure, and that my life shows the amazing things He does. In Jesus’ name, I live a free, purposeful, and confident life.
